After Shadowheart Finds Out
After Shadowheart discovers that her parents are still alive and imprisoned in a Sharran monastery, her personal quest “Daughter of Darkness” requires finding a Sharran spy. He is the one who can indicate the location of the needed place.
Where to Find
In Baldur’s Gate 3, you can find the Sharran spy in Rivington in Act 3. From the waypoint “Rivington,” head northeast. Between Arfur’s mansion and the requisitioned barn, under an inconspicuous canopy, stands the merchant Ferg Droger, who is the one you need.
During the dialogue, let Shadowheart talk to the man. Ferg will tell the girl to find the “House of Sorrow” in the Lower City. He will then have to report our appearance in Baldur’s Gate.
After the dialogue ends, the quest will update.
Several Important Points Related to Ferg:
- If you approach the Sharran spy for the first time without Shadowheart in the party, you can learn more about his activities and even trade. If you successfully pass a Persuasion check (difficulty — 18), his assortment includes more goods, including some very rare items.
- If you for some reason killed Ferg before his conversation with Shadowheart, you’ll have to find the “House of Sorrow” on your own. There is no other spy like him in the city.
- It may happen that Ferg is not in his usual place. In this situation, look for him near Arfur Gregorio’s mansion, which has been taken over by a refugee family.
- After the Sharran spy talks to Shadowheart, he will become unavailable for trading, so if you want to buy something — do it before the conversation with the girl.
Where to Go Next
The next destination, as mentioned earlier, is the “House of Sorrow,” which is located to the northwest of the Lower City.
The closest point to the location is the waypoint “Baldur’s Gate.” Cross the bridge; the required building will be on the left.
In the depths of the location, the personal quest “Daughter of Darkness” will continue, where you will need to decide whether to kill or save Shadowheart’s parents.
