Mirna’s Dog Collar in Baldur’s Gate 3: Where to Find and How to Use It

Baldur’s Gate 3

During your travels in the Underdark in Baldur’s Gate 3

During your travels in the Underdark in Baldur’s Gate 3, you might have come across a strange dog collar with runic symbols, but not had any idea what to do with it.

Definitely don’t throw it away or sell it, as it involves a small puzzle.

Where to find it

For those who might not know, you can find the dog collar in the eastern part of the Underdark location in Baldur’s Gate 3. The closest point is from the ‘Underdark – Sussur Tree’ teleport.

From there, head to the farthest lower corner, where you can spot a stone tombstone upon getting closer. Approach and click on it.

You will need to have a shovel in your inventory to dig up the grave. Once the dirty work is done, a dog collar with runic inscriptions will appear on the ground. Pick it up.

What to do with it

We have acquired Myrna’s dog collar, but where to use it is completely unclear.

For this, you need to head to the Ruined Magic Tower, which is also located in the Underdark, but to the south.

To use the dog collar in Baldur’s Gate 3 for its intended purpose, you need to be in the master’s bedroom. If the lift has been activated, go up one floor higher. The further actions are as follows:

  • Approach the window, near which there is a button (it is highlighted). If you have good night vision, you will notice a dog bed under the window.
  • Put the dog collar on the active character in the amulet slot.
  • Press the button and receive a “gift”.

After that, a portion of raw meat will drop into the bowl on the floor, which can be used as a supply during a long rest. It gives 10 units.

Pressing the button again, even with another character, will have no effect. Since the item has fulfilled its function, it can be safely sold.

By the way, if you press the button while the collar is just lying in your inventory, one of your companions will say that it vibrates.
