In Baldur’s Gate 3, Pandirna is a paralyzed tiefling girl who guards the supply warehouse in the Emerald Grove.
Most players, of course, want to heal Pandirna, and at first glance, it might seem impossible. However, it’s actually quite simple.
Where to Find Her
Pandirna is located in the warehouse next to the temporary prison in the northern part of the Emerald Grove.
If you just pick the lock and enter, guard Zorr will notice and this will lead to trouble. But there is another hidden passage that allows you to get inside without arousing the guards’ suspicions. It is located on the roof of the barn where Pandirna is.
The path to the roof goes through the temporary prison located next to the barn. To the right, behind the cage with the goblin Sazza, there is a descent to a path that leads directly behind the warehouse.
Find Out What Happened
To understand what happened to Pandirna, you need to talk to her.
In the conversation, choose one of the following options and pass a check (difficulty 10):
- [Perception] Stare at her face and try to understand what’s wrong with her.
- [Persuasion] Don’t worry, I’m here with a task.
- [Deception] I won’t leave, sorry. Now I’m in charge here.
Pandirna will tell you that she wanted to become stronger and not feel fear. Auntie Ethel, who appeared in the tiefling hideout, helped her. The kind old woman sold Pandirna a potion that made her stronger but paralyzed her legs.
Because of this, the other tieflings assigned Pandirna to guard the supplies in the warehouse.
Any other dialogue options or failing the check will end the conversation, and you won’t find out what happened or how to help. You’ll be left with the options to attack or leave the warehouse empty-handed.
How to Heal Her
Let’s go over some ways to heal Pandirna in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Lesser Restoration
To heal Pandirna, you’ll need the spell “Lesser Restoration,” which is available by default, for instance, to Shadowheart.
To slot it into the active spells, select Shadowheart’s inventory and click the book icon. Remove one unnecessary spell and replace it with “Lesser Restoration.”
Then, approach Pandirna and use the spell on her, after which she will stand up and thank the heroes.
By succeeding a persuasion check and convincing Pandirna to pay, you can receive some gold.
If you pocket the money and run away without healing her, she will immediately call for help.
If You Lack the Necessary Spell
If your party lacks Shadowheart or a hero with the necessary spell, you can use the Sylvanus Amulet found in the Emerald Grove.
From the Druid’s Circle, head down to the river where a bear is located. There, under a flat stone (which can be moved aside), you will find the “Sylvanus Amulet,” granting the wearer the ability to use “Lesser Restoration.”
Should You Heal Her?
If you heal Pandirna, she will thank you and allow you to stay in the warehouse for a while, but strictly forbids touching any of the items.
If you convinced her to pay for the help, you’ll only receive a small amount of money.
You can rob the warehouse only if you kill the tiefling. However, you won’t find anything of particular value: a few potions, alchemical ingredients, junk, and some supplies.
From Pandirna herself, you can take a personal diary, a supply bag, some money, and a blade.
The Dark Urge
Playing as the Dark Urge (or as an Oathbreaker Paladin subclass), unique dialogue options with Pandirna appear:
- She is helpless. You can make it so she never stands up again.
- Resist the urge to break her legs. Ask about the potion.
Choosing the first option triggers a short bloody cutscene with Pandirna’s death, gaining Astarion’s approval.
