In the Elleratine Mansion in Baldur’s Gate (Act 3)
In Jaheria’s house, we can find an indentation for a pin, but what to insert there and, more importantly, what exactly it opens remains a mystery for many.
Where to Find the “Pin”
After chatting with everyone on the first floor, head to the second floor. Enter the left door, where a boy named Tate stands. After a brief dialogue, the boy will give you an item called the “Harp Badge.”
If Jaheria is currently in the party, the elf will mention that it “opens more doors” and hint at her office.
How to Open It
Go down to the first floor and open the double doors leading to Jaheria’s office. Approach the work desk, on the left side of which there is a button marked as “Indentation for a Pin.”
Once you press it, a menu will appear requiring you to insert an item, but we already know which one—the very “Harp Badge.” When the badge is inserted, a secret passage under the desk will open, leading to Jaheria’s secret basement.
Reward
In the hideout behind one of the cabinets (if you pass a Sleight of Hand check with DC 18), you can access Jaheria’s particularly secret storage:
- Scimitar “Belm”
- War Staff “The Ram’s Staff”
- Amulet “Khalid’s Gift”
