The primary advantage of using cheat codes in Fallout 4 is the significant time-saving they offer. Players can quickly access vast quantities of resources, which enhances their ability to build, craft, and upgrade without the need for extensive scavenging and resource management. This can greatly enhance enjoyment for those who prefer to focus on aspects of the game like exploration, combat, or story development without getting bogged down by the more mundane tasks of resource gathering.
In Fallout 4, resource codes may be needed for quickly building your settlements as well as upgrading armor and weapons. By default, the developers assume that the player will roam the game world and diligently collect any junk they can find, or at the very least, build scavenging stations so that materials will accumulate over time. If you’d rather save time on all these activities, you can use the following ID lists to get everything at once.
How to enter them in the console: The standard method of entering resource ID codes in the console line:
- Open the console with the “~” key.
- Enter the command player.additem.
- After a space, enter the required ID code.
- After another space, enter the number of units.
For example:
player.additem 0006907a 333 – will add 333 units of aluminum to the player’s inventory.

Resource Pack IDs for 25, 50, and 100 units
In Fallout 4, there is an option not only to collect materials one by one but also to buy them in bulk from traders by the dozens and hundreds. Under normal circumstances, you would need to search carefully for the necessary NPCs (and the number of bulk batches is limited), but with cheat codes, you can get them infinitely.
Note: One such item contains 25, 50, or 100 materials, so by adding 10 with the console command, you will get 250, 500, or 1000 at once.
