Vampires came to Sims 4 with the update “The Sims 4: Vampires”. Some think they are very powerful creatures, radiating only fear and their superiority, and some think they are cursed entities that need to be urgently exterminated.
This article is intended for those who have not been able to appreciate all the charms of vampire life and want to return their character to human form.
There are only two ways to stop being a vampire in Sims 4:
- Creating a drink from vampirism;
- using the cheat code.
Which way to apply is up to you, but we’ll tell you both.
Cure Creation
To use this method, you will have to pay a lot of attention to the level and abilities of your character. Below is a detailed description of how to turn your vampire into a human.
Minimum Requirements
The first thing you will have to do is to make sure that you are at level 15 or higher of the vampire skill. The fact is that it is at level fifteen that you will unlock the ability to make a drink called “The Best Vampirism Cure”, which is exactly what will help make a vampire-human in Sims 4.
If your Sim is a bloodsucker, he must first become a junior vampire and then you must get the garlic immunity trait.
Ingredient Gathering
Now let’s find all the necessary ingredients to prepare the long-awaited cure.
For this you will need:
- simoleons x2500
- garlic x10
- blood fruit x10
- wolfsbane roots x10
You can order garlic delivery directly from your computer to your home, and then open packages in your inventory.
To find blood fruit and wolf-root, you will need to search for plants in the Forgotten Hollow area, as shown in the picture below:
You can grow all the necessary ingredients in your garden by yourself, having the pumped-up skill of gardening and skill 8 of vampirism. But before that, you will need to read specialized literature on the subject in books or computers.
Another option is to just buy all the ingredients in the store.
Making Potions
Once all the ingredients are available, then mix them together (this does not require the skill “Mixing Drinks”) to make a cure for vampirism.
After that, drink the resulting potion, after which the character will appear with a golden glow, and he will turn back into a normal Sim, which has its own needs and burdens of life, typical of an ordinary person.
You will be able to share the drink with other vampire sims, if they have the same need as you – to become human again.
Note that this drink can be made by any in-game character who has all the necessary ingredients and skill progression.
Even an ordinary human or a werewolf can make the “Best Vampirism Cure” for his buddy or relative.
Cheat code from vampirism
To get rid of vampirism in Sims 4 you can also use the cheat code. To do this, you must enter the developer’s code:
- Open the game console with the key combination Ctrl+Shift+C.
- Then enter the developer’s code itself: Testingcheats true
- After that, reopen the game console and enter the code traits.remove_trait trait_OccultVampire
This code is guaranteed to cure your character of vampirism.
If after curing your character you realize that human life is not for him, you can always turn your sim into a bloodsucker again, stepping on the path of a bloodsucker from the beginning.
