One of these professions is an athlete, where you have to study your opponents to get advantages over them.
This profession came into the game with the free update 1.90.358, released on the eve of the High School supplement.

Studying your opponents will give you a huge advantage in mastering a higher level of an athlete’s career in Sims 4.

When will it take
In order to explore the opponents in Sims 4, you need to stop at the career athlete.
You can do this as follows:
- Grab your phone or computer and go to “Jobs” (on phone)/ “Careers” (on computer).
- Select the “Find a job” category.
- From the list of all the jobs available to you, select “Athlete” career.
Your character now needs to train several hours a day every day in order to begin to climb up the career ladder.
As soon as you reach career level 4 (“Dancing Team Captain”), you will be offered two options for your career path:
- Bodybuilder
- Professional Athlete
For the purposes of our topic, it is required to choose the second option – Professional Athlete, and get a boost of energy, as it is necessary for this profession.
As soon as you make this choice, you will be given a daily task, which involves the study of your opponents.

Studying opponents in Sims 4 as a professional athlete can be done in several ways, depending on financial ability:
- With the help of a TV;
- with the help of a computer.
By means of the computer
If you want to use your computer for this case, you need to do the following steps:
- Turn on your desktop computer or laptop.
- Select the “Internet” option.
- Select the “Explore Opponents” option.
- Wait for the research to complete.
The purpose of exploring opponents is to earn rewards that provide the following career level 10 rewards:
- A prize in the form of a “Solar System” figurine.
- A stylized Royal Rocking Room.
With the help of a television
If you want to use the TV to study your opponents’ weaknesses, follow these steps:
- Approach the TV and turn it on.
- Select the “Explore Opponents” option.
- Wait for the research to complete.
Thanks to the multitasking feature in Sims 4, you can perform two actions at once, such as running on a treadmill and studying your opponents with the TV.
Note that performing two or more actions at once will double your task time.

The process of studying opponents in both cases requires a large expenditure of vigor, as the study itself takes about 2-3 hours of game time.

- Before exploring, drink coffee or sleep in a warm bed for a high score on this die.
